Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Senior Signal/Power Integrity Engineer for the North Reading, MA site. The role involves developing scripts and software utilities to accelerate setup with Cadence tools, aiding PCB layout decisions, and collaborating with HW design to tackle high-speed SI/PI challenges.

You will ensure design integrity through bring-up simulations and verification, leveraging Cadence, Ansys, and Keysight tools. A BS or MSEE and 10+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS or MSEE in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 10 yrs related experience (internships not included).
• Primary experience needed in Cadence, Ansys or Keysight SI/PI tools.
• Primary skills required in Transmission-Line Theory, Frequency and Time Domain evaluation, and EM Fields.
• Above average skills needed in organization, planning, collaboration and communication.
• Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CoPilot.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, tcl, or similar tools/languages is a plus.
• Leading a team, and/or primary responsibility for a project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom code and scripts to speed the setup using Cadence tools or develop software utilities to improve efficiency.
• Support PCB Layout by assisting in Floorplanning and Stack-up trade-offs and defining routing constraints.
• Partner with HW circuit design teams to solve High-Speed signal integrity and power integrity problems to meet specs.
• Sustain/Ensure no design escapes during bring-up and Design Verification by conducting high priority simulations.
