Job summary

Broadcom Inc. in San Jose seeks an experienced SI/PI engineer to drive sign-off for parallel interfaces across 2.5D/3D interposers and packages. The role blends customer-facing tasks with R&D for next-generation interconnect technologies.

Responsibilities include timing signoff, EM extraction, PDN analysis, IO channel work, and automation with TCL/Python. Requires 12+ years (or 10+ for MS) in Electrical/Electronics/CE and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 12+ or 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong TCL and Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with SI/PI sign-off flows for DDR/LPDDR or HBM.

Responsibilities

• Mask-based timing signoff using time-domain simulations of parallel interfaces.
• Electromagnetic extraction and modeling of signal and power delivery channels.
• AC and transient analysis of power distribution networks.
• IO channel analysis.
• Pre-layout modeling of transceivers and PDN networks.
• Automate sign-off processes and collaborate with EDA vendors to improve tool accuracy.
• Prepare analysis results, presentations, sign-off reports, and support pre-sales activities.
