Job summary

THOR Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician VI (Electrical Controls) for full-time, on-site support at SWRMC in San Diego, CA. You will troubleshoot and maintain Navy electrical control systems aboard ships, lead assessment teams, and provide technical guidance to Fleet personnel.

Security clearance and 10+ years of experience are required. Position entails up to 10% travel to overseas locations, with competitive benefits and a pay rate of $48.13/hour plus $5.09/hour health and welfare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience with U.S. Navy Electrical Control Systems.
• Experience on shipboard systems and ability to operate in Navy environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite and surge support for Code 265 equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and provide technical guidance on-site or remotely.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness.
• Assist with DFS and ESR responses and prepare ship visits debriefs.
