Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC in San Diego, CA, seeks an Engineering Technician V (Electrical Controls) to provide full-time, on-site support for U.S. Navy shipboard equipment at SWRMC.

You will troubleshoot, assess, and train Ship's Force to improve fleet readiness. Must have 3–5 years of hands-on Navy Electrical Control Systems experience and a high school diploma/GED, be able to obtain a security clearance, and be willing to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining U.S. Navy Electrical Control Systems.
• Experience with shipboard electrical systems and control equipment is required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Full-Time Onsite Support and Surge Support for Code 265 equipment.
• Serve as SME for assessment teams and Fleet Technical Assistance teams on-site or remotely.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness status.
• Assist with DFS and ESR inputs.
• Deliver TAVRs and ship-visit debriefs.
