Form Energy is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Metals to support transferring sheet metal components to suppliers. You will collaborate with Global Supply Management and cross-functional teams to optimize cost and manufacturability, leading DFM/APQP reviews and driving supplier readiness from prototype through Start of Production.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in the design and manufacturing of sheet metal parts.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience with stamping, bending, welding, laser cutting and other forming/coating processes.
• Strong understanding of tolerancing and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with sheet metal coatings and finishes (nickel plating).
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for cost and manufacturability and define critical customer requirements for suppliers.
• Lead DFM and APQP reviews with suppliers before design freeze.
• Own the QML roadmap from prototype builds to SOP and PPAP, maturing tooling and processes.
• Identify and mitigate program schedule risks including tooling lead times and supplier capacity.
• Drive SCAR and RCA processes with suppliers and verify long-term effectiveness.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement to reduce variation, elevate yields and lower costs.
