Form Energy is hiring a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Metals to support the transfer of sheet metal components to our suppliers, including stamped, laser cut, plated, and bent parts. This role reports to the Global Supply Management team and focuses on cost-effectiveness and DFM analysis.

You will lead DFM/APQP reviews, manage the QML roadmap from prototype to Start of Production and PPAP, and drive continuous improvement in supplier tooling and processes.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in the design and manufacturing of sheet metal parts.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in high-volume sheet metal forming/coating: stamping, bending, welding, laser cutting.
• Strong tolerancing and GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for cost, assembly, and manufacturability.
• Lead DFM and APQP reviews with suppliers prior to design freeze.
• Own QML roadmap from prototype to SOP and PPAP, maturing supplier tooling and processes.
• Identify and mitigate program schedule risks, including tooling lead times and capacity constraints.
• Drive SCAR processes, root cause analysis, and verify long-term effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance and champion Lean initiatives to reduce variation and costs.
