Job summary
PMB Talent Partners is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Quality Engineer (5+ years) for a sheet metal fabrication environment in New York. You will optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and support cost-effective manufacturing while assuring product quality.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Mastercam, and CMM programming is required. The role involves design for manufacturability, tooling development, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with production
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering in sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Mastercam.
- Hands-on experience with CMM programming and inspection.
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Interface with customers for design review and manufacturability assessments.
- Develop manufacturing methods and cost estimates.
- Create tooling concepts and tooling cost estimates.
- Support CNC operations with Mastercam.
- Program and support CMM inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and leadership teams.
