Job summary

National Church Residences seeks Service Coordinators to join its Douglasville team. This full-time role supports seniors by coordinating programs, resources, and services, while advocating for residents and building community links.

Work Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, at 6125 Stewart Parkway. Benefit-rich package includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness programs with PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and network with service providers; identify low-cost services and discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to community resources.
• Develop a Resource Directory of state/local service providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, agency support, life skills and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service and address resident concerns.
• Assist residents in accessing community services like housekeeping, meals, transportation, and financial assistance.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
• Manage internal and external relationships with effective communication.
