Job summary

The Office of the Sergeant at Arms in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to design, improve, and support critical applications on the ServiceNow platform. You will work with customers to translate needs into secure, high-quality solutions that support mission-critical operations.

The role requires expertise in CMDB, ITSM, EAM/ITOM, and ITOM, with on-site presence six times per month and eligibility for a security clearance.

Qualifications

GED with 8–10 years of relevant work experience; Bachelor’s with 5–8 years; Master’s with 3–5 years.
Strong root cause analysis, debugging, and incident resolution skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages and building service integrations.
Knowledge of data models, RBAC/SSO/SAML security configurations.

Responsibilities

Design and configure ServiceNow, including forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
Implement CMDB, ITSM, ITAM, KPI reporting, and dashboards; ensure data quality.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
Coordinate software installations and support cross-functional teams.
Document system designs and provide guidance for support teams.
