Job summary

SAIC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design and deliver solutions within the ServiceNow ITSM environment. The role emphasizes customization, integration, and catalog/knowledge base development to support enterprise IT services.

The candidate should have extensive ServiceNow development experience, familiarity with CMDB/CSDM, and strong communication skills. On-site work is required three days per week, with a hybrid arrangement and a focus on secure, scalable IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of experience or Master’s degree with six or more years, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship and a Green Card.
• 6+ years of ServiceNow development in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, customization, administration, and configuration.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture (APM).
• Experience with HTML, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Service Catalog, Service Portal, CMDB, and CSDM.
• Experience with WSD and Now Assist modules.
• Strong ITSM process knowledge and experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, configure, and release new ServiceNow modules, workflows, and catalog requests.
• Deliver technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform for internal users.
• Provide configuration and customization including flow design, admin tasks, reporting, data imports, integrations, and scripting.
• Create integrations and automation between ServiceNow and other services via API and data integrations.
• Create and maintain Service Catalog Items and Knowledge Bases.
• Collaborate with IT Service Management and client stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Architect integrations using LDAP, SSO, MID server, web services, email, and in-house apps; plan for future growth.
• Perform configurations, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks; design security and data protection.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve the platform; maintain CMDB accuracy.
