Job summary

Synergy ECP in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to support a hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure GCC-High, Google Cloud, and on‑prem. You will work with DevSecOps teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure and APIs in a multi-cloud setup.

You will create and secure ServiceNow, IAM resources, and complex roles, using Foreman, GitLab, Selenium, Terraform, and Jenkins. Strong testing, documentation, and collaboration with government stakeholders are required.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of related software development, ServiceNow, or IT experience.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, STEM, or related field.
• Expertise with ServiceNow CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong administrative and engineering rigor.
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira story decomposition.
• Experience with Foreman, Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Experience with Selenium and automated test plan development for security and functional requirements.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP; security requirements in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure and APIs in AWS cloud-based environments.
• Develop complex roles and permissions within ServiceNow to ensure data integrity and security.
• Utilize DevSecOps tools to deploy, upgrade, and maintain platform changes.
• Architect and maintain IdAM, AD, and LDAP resources integrated with ServiceNow.
• Collaborate in a multi-cloud and on-premises environment and prepare technical documentation.
• Deliver presentations for government stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Contribute to Agile Scrum development; develop automated testing plans for security and functionality.
