Job summary

The Eliassen Group is seeking a Mid-to-Senior ServiceNow ITAM Developer to design, implement, and optimize asset management on the ServiceNow platform. The role spans HAM, SAM, EAM, CMDB, and related integrations in a remote, contract setting.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of ServiceNow development and 3+ years ITAM experience, with strong REST/SOAP integrations and a proven ability to deliver scalable solutions in government contexts. Public Trust clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow ITAM implementation and support experience.
• Experience with HAM, SAM, EAM, CMDB.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Catalog Development, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Lifecycle Management processes.
• Experience with CMDB data management, reconciliation, normalization, and governance.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITAM solutions following platform best practices.
• Implement and enhance HAM, SAM, and EAM capabilities.
• Configure and maintain asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, deployment, maintenance, transfer, retirement, and disposal.
• Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and related technologies.
• Configure and maintain CMDB relationships, data models, reconciliation rules, and data quality processes.
• Build and support Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data migration and transformation from legacy asset management platforms.
• Develop technical documentation, design documents, process flows, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Build and support automated testing using ServiceNow ATF.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform enhancements.
