Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level ServiceNow applications for a major national laboratory. You will work across modules (Incident, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge) and drive integrations using REST and SOAP.

This remote opportunity requires strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills, ITIL familiarity, and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 7 years of directly related professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.
• Experience configuring the ServiceNow platform and supporting multiple modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes).
• Experience with REST, SOAP, and MID Server integrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and secure development practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Support Incident, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge modules.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications for reliability and user experience.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure security practices and standards are followed.
• Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff.
• Stay current with ServiceNow updates and best practices.
