Job summary

GDIT is seeking a ServiceNow Developer Principal for remote work to advance mission-critical government projects. You will design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications, with a focus on ITSM, and integrate external systems using REST/SOAP.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong scripting ability in JavaScript or similar.
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements
• Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems and applications using REST/SOAP
• Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management and health checks
• Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
• Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for integrated processes and platform functionality
• Define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products with stakeholders
• Participate in IT-related technical process reviews and continual improvement
• Maintain current ServiceNow certifications and obtain additional ones as needed
