Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop and maintain mission-enabling applications for the HUD. This is a fully remote role supporting HUD initiatives across federal civilian agencies.

You will build and configure ServiceNow apps using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder; collaborate with stakeholders; manage the SDLC using Agile/DevSecOps; ensure HUD cybersecurity compliance; produce documentation; and help modernize legacy workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ServiceNow for federal civilian agencies.
• Execute the SDLC using Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps within HUD IT governance.
• Experience securing ServiceNow apps under HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements and FISMA.
• Ability to integrate ServiceNow with external systems across agencies.
• Translate housing program needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication with HUD stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced federal environments while adhering to enterprise standards.
• Must be able to attain HUD Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications within the ServiceNow platform (App Engine, Flow Designer, UI Builder).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate needs into scalable apps.
• Execute the full SDLC using Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects issues.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices and governance to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and federal data protection standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and update logs.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide governance insights on platform capabilities and digital transformation.
