Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-enabling apps for HUD. This remote role supports rapid delivery of functional apps and automated workflows using the ServiceNow platform, including App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.

You will collaborate with HUD stakeholders to translate operations into scalable solutions while following SDLC practices and federal governance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications for federal civilian agencies, ideally housing or public-sector programs.
• Ability to execute SDLC using Agile, DevOps or DevSecOps within HUD IT governance or TMF controls.
• Experience implementing and securing ServiceNow per HUD/OCIO cybersecurity requirements and federal data policies.
• Proficiency integrating ServiceNow with external systems across federal agencies and HUD cloud environments.
• Ability to translate HUD program needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication with HUD stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, contractors and leadership.
• Experience managing tasks in fast-paced federal environments while adhering to enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications using App Engine, Flow Designer and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate needs into scalable apps.
• Deliver SDLC across Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot integration, MID Server, deployment and defects.
• Apply ServiceNow governance to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and data protection standards.
• Produce technical documentation and Update Set logs.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide platform insights on governance, capability planning, and digital transformation.
