Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-enabling applications for the HUD. This remote role supports rapid delivery of functional apps and automated workflows within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will lead SDLC efforts, ensure HUD cybersecurity compliance, and collaborate with HUD stakeholders to translate mission needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years (or commensurate experience).
• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow apps for federal civilian agencies.
• Experience implementing under HUD IT governance, TMF or similar controls.
• Experience securing ServiceNow apps per HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements and FISMA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications within the ServiceNow platform, utilizing App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate operational needs into scalable applications.
• Execute the full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices and governance to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain cybersecurity compliance with HUD security requirements and federal data protection standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including Software Product Documentation and Update Set logs.
• Support application lifecycle modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide platform insights regarding governance, capability planning, and digital transformation.
