Job summary

GovCIO is actively seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-enabling applications for HUD. This fully remote role requires delivering functional apps and automated workflows while adhering to the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP).

You will implement and secure ServiceNow solutions, integrate with external systems, and ensure compliance with HUD cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow apps for federal civilian agencies, preferably housing, grants, or public-sector service delivery.
• Experience SDLC in environments governed by HUD IT governance, TMF, or similar controls.
• Experience implementing and securing ServiceNow apps per HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements, DHS/OMB directives, and FISMA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications within the ServiceNow platform using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable applications.
• Execute the full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices and governance to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and federal data protection standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and Update Set logs.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide platform insights on governance, capability planning, and digital transformation.
