Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform in support of a major national laboratory.

The role requires strong JavaScript/ServiceNow scripting skills, ITIL familiarity, and the ability to collaborate with analysts and stakeholders. Candidates may work remotely, with willingness to travel onsite as needed; security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS in relevant discipline plus minimum 7 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
• US Citizenship required
• Candidate can work remotely but must be willing to travel onsite as needed

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement and support multiple ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications to improve functionality and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and support procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development.
• Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices
