Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead design, development, and governance of ServiceNow solutions for security and IT operations. Remote role with a long-term contract and potential conversion, collaborating with DevOps, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of ServiceNow development, strong scripting, and experience with GRC/IRM, ITSM, ITOM, and complex integrations using REST/SOAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years ServiceNow development experience with technical lead experience welcome.
• Customer-facing technical consulting experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, or Service Portal development.
• Expertise in GRC/IRM, ITSM, ITOM, SIR, Vulnerability Response, and ITIL frameworks; exposure to Advanced Risk Module.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and MID Servers.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS; CMDB/Discovery familiarity.
• ServiceNow CAD, CSA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Reporting and dashboard setup proficiency.
• Experience with Agile, time estimation, and RTM tools like JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet requirements.
• Create and maintain forms, fields, UI policies, and business rules.
• Implement client-side and server-side scripting to enhance functionality.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks to streamline tasks and processes.
• Develop and manage scripts and workflows for automation and orchestration within ServiceNow.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, web services, and other methods; orchestrate cross-platform data exchanges.
• Use MID Server for connections, credentials, and import schedules; manage AWS integration workflows.
• Develop automated test scripts and suites; implement regression testing for updates.
• Develop scripted REST APIs to extend capabilities and data integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide status updates, and support reliable releases with DevOps.
• Governance: update sets lifecycle, conflict resolution, and cross-environment promotion.
• Enforce best practices for development and governance; understand AppRepo and Scoped Applications.
• Demonstrate strong communication, independence, and detail-oriented delivery.
