Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a development team supporting a live ServiceNow implementation for a large enterprise user base. The role emphasizes hands‑on development, configuration, and integration with systems, ensuring secure, scalable ITSM processes.

The candidate will design and deploy ServiceNow ITSM solutions, manage CMDB, Discovery, LDAP/SSO integrations, and dashboards, and work with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in IT support or related field, preferably in software development or configurations.
• 5 years of experience hands‑on developing, installing and supporting ITSM applications in a large‑scale environment, preferably using ServiceNow.
• 4 years of experience configuring, customizing, or administering ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
• 2 years of experience writing and debugging scripts in languages such as JavaScript, SQL, and PowerShell.
• Demonstrated understanding of ITSM processes.
• Common Service Data Models (CSDM) items and relations such as Classification, Asset/CI Synchronization, and IRE.
• CMDB Identification and reconciliation Engine (IRE).
• Data Sources and Integrations including MECM/SCCM/Intune, Service Graph Connector, Discovery, Tenable, ADEX, and related integrations.
• Baseline CMDB and CMDB Health Management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support ServiceNow solutions according to user requirements.
• Hands‑on development, maintenance, and support of ITSM applications, configurations, workflows, and roles.
• Configure ServiceNow Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Data Policies and Data Dictionary.
• Create and maintain LDAP/SSO integrations and MID Server connections.
• Utilize external APIs for ServiceNow integration and automation.
• Create and maintain ServiceNow CMDB including new Configuration Items via Discovery.
• Maintain Service Catalog items, Service Portal, UI pages, and user roles/groups.
• Design and perform ongoing operations and maintenance on the ServiceNow instance.
• Develop documentation and demonstrations for customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure data security and functionality while preserving system sustainability and supportability.
• Build credible relationships with customers’ technical resources and track policy compliance.
• Review IT infrastructure changes for CMDB impact, publish configuration reports and maintain health of CMDBs and CDMB integrations.
• Other tasks as required to support the ServiceNow tool.
