Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join the Strategic Operations Project Team, transitioning Air Force District of Washington ITSM from BMC Helix to ServiceNow. You will design, code, deploy, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with focus on ITIL processes and platform governance.

Responsibilities include automating IT workflows, building integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, configuring ITAM/ITOM modules, and delivering dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Requires a current DoD Secret clearance.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML), with deep proficiency in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations.
• ServiceNow Certifications (Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer) is required.
• Strong expertise in ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) modules.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, debugs, documents, deploys, and maintains solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develops ITIL process automation and ensures operational efficiency across IT and business workflows.
• Executes platform engineering with ITSM modules and integrations with third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Builds dashboards, reports, and data mappings to track system metrics.
• Prepare technical and user documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
