Empower AI, a Reston-based government-tech innovator, seeks a ServiceNow Developer to advance enterprise ITSM on ServiceNow for a DoW agency. This salaried, FLSA-exempt role requires independent analysis, compliant coding, and a DoD-focused environment.

Based in Quantico, VA with remote eligibility and occasional travel, you will design, build, test, and refine workflows, catalogs, and CMDB integrations while mentoring teammates and ensuring stakeholder acceptance through demonstrations and UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience; Master’s with 8 years may substitute.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance to start; Top Secret eligibility may be required later.
• Continuous Evaluation / Continuous Vetting.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development, including at least 5 years on ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform.
• Expert proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (server- and client-side), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and CMDB; update set lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating ITSM with REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP/AD, and event/monitoring sources.
• Experience delivering in an Agile framework with demonstrations, UAT, and stakeholder acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Implement enterprise ticket lifecycle workflows and Customer-Confirmed Ticket Closure.
• Develop and maintain a user-friendly Service Catalog and CMDB data quality.
• Lead sprint planning, QA, UAT, and stakeholder acceptance before closing tasks.
• Adhere to secure coding standards and federal security guidelines; deliver updates to government owner.
• Collaborate on Service Portal, Virtual Agent, dashboards, and CX improvements.
• Mentor developers and maintain technical design documentation.
