Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to own and evolve the DCPS instance across ITSM, HRSD, S2P, and ITAM modules. You will configure forms, lists, workflows, catalogs, and reporting, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable platform solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, strong fundamentals, and ITIL knowledge, with 100% onsite work in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow administration with ownership of an instance.
• Strong knowledge of forms, lists, tables, dictionary, rules, scripts, policies, roles/ACLs, and update sets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for the DCPS ServiceNow instance and support daily operations.
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow applications: forms, lists, workflows, notifications, reporting.
• Support cross-module development across ITSM, HRSD, S2P, and others.
• Design and maintain Service Catalog items and end-to-end workflows with Flow Designer and approvals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into platform solutions.
• Ensure configurations follow best practices and upgrade readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, build REST/SOAP integrations, and maintain documentation.

Job description

This hands-on role configures and evolves ServiceNow across modules including Source-to-Pay (S2P), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM), delivering scalable, secure, user-centered solutions aligned to DCPS priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary administrator for the DCPS ServiceNow instance, supporting day-to-day service operations and maintenance
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow applications: forms, lists, workflows/flows, notifications, and reporting
• Support development and enhancement across multiple modules (ITSM, HRSD, S2P, and others)
• Design and maintain Service Catalog items and end-to-end workflows using Flow Designer, approvals, task routing, and notifications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into platform-aligned technical solutions
• Ensure configurations follow ServiceNow best practices (configuration over customization) and maintain upgrade readiness
• Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, build REST/SOAP integrations, and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, including ownership or co-ownership of a ServiceNow instance
• Strong platform fundamentals: forms, lists, tables, dictionary, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, roles and ACLs, update sets
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM process knowledge; able to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC and interview in person
• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD); ITSM/HRSD/S2P/CSM/SecOps; Integration Hub and data imports; public sector / K-12 / education experience
