Job summary

The United States Senate is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Integrated Operations Center to provide day-to-day operational support for the ServiceNow environment, with a focus on CMDB and Vulnerability Response while assisting ITAM and ITOM. You will collaborate with the Platform and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliable operations and accurate data.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation, reports, and training teammates.

Qualifications

Five to eight years of relevant work experience (GED), three to six of relevant work experience (Associates), one to three years of relevant work experience (Bachelor’s), one to two years of relevant work experience (Master’s).
Experience with CMDB, ITOM and Vulnerability Response; exposure to ITAM is a plus.
Ability to mentor junior staff and train others; strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support CMDB, Vulnerability Response, ITAM and ITOM with emphasis on CMDB and ITOM.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Work with cybersecurity to support Vulnerability Response within ServiceNow.
Coordinate with ServiceNow Platform team on platform changes or enhancements.
Maintain documentation, develop support procedures, and train team members.
