Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior System Administrator to deliver senior‑level IT operations and ServiceNow administration across an enterprise, with a laser focus on CMDB accuracy, ITSM/ITOM, reliability, and compliance with federal standards.

You will configure workflows, manage CMDB lifecycle, support incident and change management, and ensure security controls while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience administering ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM modules in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience maintaining an enterprise CMDB with data accuracy and lifecycle governance.
• Experience supporting ITSM and ITOM to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level administration and operational support for ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM across the enterprise.
• Manage and maintain CMDB as authoritative data source for configuration items.
• Configure and support workflows, integrations, roles, access controls, and system enhancements in ServiceNow.
• Support IT/OT service management operations for reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, document actions in approved systems.
• Support change and release management processes with testing and documentation.
• Provide SAM tool support and ongoing maintenance as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal IT standards and agency directives.
