Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Business Analyst for a fully remote role rooted in Hanover, MD. The candidate will translate business needs into technical specs, drive QA and UAT, and coordinate across agile teams to deliver ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM/ITBM/ITOM/HR modules.

Strong English communication and SDLC/Agile experience are required. The role advances complex projects with multiple stakeholders, requiring mentorship and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a business analyst.
• 5+ years in professional services.
• 3+ years in ServiceNow including ITSM/ITBM/ITOM/HR; reports/dashboards; form/list views; VT B setup.
• Understanding of business rules, client scripts, UI actions/policies.
• Strong communication skills in English and SDLC/Agile knowledge.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical specs.
• Prioritization and planning in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and system requirements, flows, and test plans using ServiceNow best practices.
• Support QA and coordinate UAT with stakeholders.
• Lead scrum ceremonies and project planning activities.
• Resolve user issues in ServiceNow and coordinate solution delivery.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to implement changes.
• Mentor team members as needed.
