Amentum seeks a Service Transition Manager to lead full-lifecycle IT infrastructure, hardware, and service transitions across DISA/DoD environments. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, validate designs, and ensure mission continuity while adhering to ITIL and program policies.

Responsibilities include developing transition plans, governance participation, risk management, and delivering clear milestones to government leadership.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret clearance with SCI or ability to obtain SCI.
• 10+ years in IT lifecycle deployments in ITSM/ITIL environments, preferably in DoD.
• Experience leading 60+ personnel on large projects, government/regulatory environments.
• Strong project management methodology knowledge (PMBOK, Agile).
• Direct experience supporting DISA/DoD communications networks (voice, video, data).
• ITIL knowledge enabling repeatable service transition activities for government standards.
• Classified DoD environment experience and SCIF operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead service transition activities for voice, video, and data services from development through deployment.
• Develop and execute Service Transition Plans incorporating security and continuity requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through onboarding and transition cycles; validate BOMs and procurement needs.
• Support governance forums (SEIPT, CCB, PRB) with risk assessments and transition-readiness updates.
• Ensure changes and new services adhere to controls before entering operations.
• Oversee documentation: SOPs, diagrams, support models, knowledge articles, topology updates.
• Collaborate with DISA stakeholders to integrate new services into workflows and monitoring.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs; track issues and mitigation strategies.
• Provide milestones, metrics, and risks to program leadership; deliver clear briefings.
