Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, user research, or a related discipline, including demonstrated leadership of complex service design engagements.
• Strong command of service design methods, research and discovery techniques, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects that generate measurable value for clients and end users.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with product, engineering, data, and research teams in agile or similar environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI-enabled approaches and emerging technologies is advantageous.
• Residence and work authorization in eligible US states; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with a focus on high-quality, timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs, processes, and technology ecosystems and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technologies, and organizations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to define problems and develop solutions.
• Engage and influence client stakeholders, communicate findings, and defend service design recommendations.
