Job summary

Volvo Autonomous Solutions in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Senior Service Program Engineer and Asset Planning Manager to lead service contracts, training programs, and US highway asset planning. You will drive SLAs, maintenance strategies, and data-driven improvements across the fleet.

Responsibilities include managing the S&OP process, forecasting, ordering, and cross-functional coordination to support Volvo’s autonomous transport business in the US. Requires strong PM skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in engineering, service operations, technical program management, or fleet support.
• Experience developing service programs, maintenance strategies, or aftermarket support.
• Experience in Sales & Operations Planning, demand planning, asset planning, or related areas.
• Strong project and program management capabilities and excellent communication.
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of service and maintenance contracts for the V.A.S. fleet.
• Define service-level agreements (SLAs), preventive maintenance strategies, and uptime commitments.
• Evaluate fleet operational data to improve service offerings and support models.
• Develop technical training programs and documentation.
• Manage S&OP for US Highway vehicle demand and asset requirements.
• Coordinate with groups to ensure vehicle supply and forecasting.
