What You Will Do

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption of autonomous freight solutions by developing and closing new business opportunities with shippers that align with our growing transportation network. • Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement through contract execution, while achieving annual revenue objectives.
  • Conduct discovery discussions with transportation, procurement, distribution, and finance leaders to understand customer needs and operational requirements.
  • Gather lane data, network requirements, facility constraints, and shipment volume commitments to support solution design and implementation.
  • Develop and present customized transportation solutions that demonstrate the value of autonomous freight through reliability, customer service, capacity, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with pricing, operations, and strategic partnership teams to ensure customer commitments are achievable and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions through execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and customer activity data within CRM systems.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you can leverage your hunting mentality, business development expertise, and industry knowledge to drive growth. You are comfortable navigating complex customer organizations and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

  • Demonstrated success in closing new transportation business and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • 3+ years of transportation sales, logistics sales, or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to generate and manage a self-sourced pipeline through prospecting and outbound sales activity.
  • Experience within truckload transportation, including asset-based carriers, dedicated transportation, private fleet conversion, managed transportation, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills with a track record of building long-term partnerships.
  • Experience collaborating with operations, pricing, and cross-functional business teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Nice to have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience working within startup, high-growth, or market-entry environments.
  • Background in refrigerated, temperature-controlled, or specialized transportation services.
  • Experience with autonomous transportation, transportation technology, or innovative mobility solutions.
