Job summary

EverQuote is seeking a Senior Manager, SEM Analytics in Cambridge, MA, with hybrid in-office work three days a week. You will own SEM end to end, lead a growing analytics team, and drive measurement across campaigns using SQL to connect performance to outcomes.

The role requires 6+ years in performance marketing, strong SEM knowledge, and hands-on leadership. Excellent communication with technical and executive stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in performance marketing with direct SEM ownership and budget accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field or demonstrated analytical ability.
• Proven experience managing people, including senior analysts or managers.
• Deep fluency in SEM mechanics: bid strategy, Smart Bidding, budget pacing, structure, and keyword management.
• Strong SQL skills to pull and analyze large datasets (Snowflake a plus).
• Solid experimentation fundamentals: significance, power, incrementality, confound control.

Responsibilities

• Own SEM end to end: bid strategy, budget allocation, pacing, campaign and account structure, keyword strategy, and automated bidding dynamics.
• Manage and develop the SEM analytics team.
• Use SQL to analyze performance by campaign, incrementality, and downstream outcomes.
• Identify optimization opportunities: bid adjustments, budget reallocation, structural changes, target changes.
• Design, launch, and evaluate rigorous experiments for bid, structure, and budget tests.
