Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Specialty Engineering Manager 3, Deputy to the Specialty Engineering Director, located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT. You will lead a team delivering SEIT scope across Sentinel program milestones with technical and programmatic oversight to meet contractual criteria.

The role requires a STEM degree with 6–8+ years of related experience, EVMS, milestone planning, and US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM with years of related experience.
• Experience managing cost, schedule and performance of large government technical SOWs.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution leadership for specialty systems engineering activities across SEIT.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the SEIT team and ensure on-schedule development of products.
• Provide technical and programmatic oversight to meet contractual criteria.
• Mentor and develop a large, diverse engineering team (30+).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize system lifecycle performance and risk management.
