Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. You will lead integration activities, develop SE artifacts, and coordinate with multiple teams to achieve program objectives.

The role requires a strong background in Agile, leadership, and experience with large defense systems, with a focus on communication and customer alignment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active Secret clearance and recent investigation date.
• 12+ years in STEM with senior engineering responsibilities, or advanced degrees with higher experience.
• 10+ years of Agile/Scrum experience and DoD contracts exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration activities including test planning and execution.
• Demonstrate leadership principles and effective communication.
• Develop requirements specifications and interface documents.
• Coordinate between SEIT and other integration teams.
• Participate in planning, verification, validation, and risk considerations.
• Identify design, systems, or analysis risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with multi‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to project teams.
