Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a SEIT Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will lead a small team of systems engineers, driving architecture development and integration for ground and airborne launch control systems and related infrastructure.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and experience with MBSE and DOORS. Expect collaboration across multiple milestones and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience; 6+ years with a Master's; 4+ with a PhD.
• US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance (recent investigation within 6 years).
• 3+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements with DOORS or similar tool.
• 2+ years in ICBM or complex aerospace/defense systems.
• 2+ years in team environments with leadership responsibilities.
• 1+ year creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop system level architecture, decomposition, and allocation to CI definitions.
• Perform trade studies for SFR/CDR/PDR campaigns.
• Develop product support for milestone activities.
• Collaborate with Sentinel customer on MPE criteria and product development.
• Lead and guide a small team of systems engineers on integration and test activities.
