Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Scientist or Geologist to lead sediment remediation projects for federal and public clients. You will evaluate remediation technologies, prepare designs for riverine, coastal, riparian, and port settings, and supervise teams across disciplines.

We value deep regulatory knowledge of CERCLA/GLLA and strong communication with clients, partners, and the public. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sediment remediation projects for federal/public clients.
• Knowledge of sediment transport, site assessment, cap modeling, dredge approaches.
• Ability to interpret environmental data with statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of remediation technologies and design strategies.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on sediment sites with stakeholders.
• Communicate complex evaluations to clients and regulators.
