Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior‑level Sediment Remediation Scientist or Geologist to lead projects for Federal and Public sector clients. The role requires independent work and team leadership on remediation designs and constructions.

You will apply knowledge of CERCLA and related regulatory steps, evaluate remediation options, and coordinate with clients and SMEs to deliver technically sound solutions within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 years of experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Providing expertise in evaluating sediment remediation technologies and designing sediment remediation solutions for riverine, coastal, and port sites.
• Leading a team of engineers and scientists on sediment remediation projects for Federal and Public sector clients.
• Interacting with clients and SMEs to develop and communicate technical strategies.
• Liaising with regulators and preparing documentation to support remedial action design and construction.
