Convergint Federal is seeking a Service Technician III to install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems for federal government projects. The role emphasizes integrity, customer satisfaction, and professional conduct in the Field Operations Department.

Responsibilities include on-site installations, system upgrades, client liaison, training, and maintaining detailed service documentation. A Top Secret/ SCI security clearance is required, with travel about 25-35% and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• Minimum high school degree/GED required. Relevant trade certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems.
• 2 product-specific certifications helpful (Lenel S2, DMP, Avigilon, Milestone, CCure 9000, Software House, AMAG)
• Industry-specific certifications desired; must have or be able to obtain applicable state and/or local required industry licenses as required by state law
• Configure basic networks, configure servers and workstations, applications and basic OS support
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to meet customer needs

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems.
• Conduct system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams for successful implementation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Provide remote and on-site support to address client concerns and maintain system functionality.
• Interface directly with clients to understand their needs and address inquiries.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities.
• Collaborate with the technical support team on knowledge bases and best practices.
• Ensure installations meet company and industry standards.
• Conduct quality checks and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
