Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Security Technician to join our culture. You will install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer train on assigned projects including small to large projects that vary in complexity.

As a member of the team, you’ll work to protect lives and assets, leverage advanced tools, and collaborate with project managers while traveling locally as needed. A valid driver’s license and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Certifications in Product-specific, Industry-specific or vendor systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start‑up, and certify security systems and equipment.
• Provide customer training and on‑site support for assigned projects.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance.
