Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician to diagnose and repair intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. You will communicate with customers, identify needs, and provide solutions to restore full functionality and efficiency on-site.

You will inspect systems, prepare written/digital reports, and serve as a trusted advisor to ensure building operations run smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• 5 years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Knowledge of major security platforms: Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC.

Responsibilities

• Locate and repair damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment or replace inoperative components and test operation.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with authorities.
• Perform repairs/inspections of intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Assist other technicians with repairs and provide reports to customers.
