Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Security Technician to troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems across multiple manufacturers. You will inspect equipment, prepare clear reports, and deliver solutions to optimize building performance and efficiency for clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the low-voltage or security field, strong knowledge of major platforms (Bosch, Honeywell, DMP, DSC, etc.), a valid driver’s license, and must pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Knowledge of major security manufacturer platforms (Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC, etc).
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems to ensure proper functionality and provide written or digital reports to customers.
• Provide solutions to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate inspections with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
