Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a Security Technician to troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. You will inspect equipment, provide clear reports, and advise customers on next steps and solutions to restore full functionality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in low-voltage/security, a valid electrical license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with customers and agencies when needed.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Electrical License (Class D) required or equivalent.
• 5+ years background in low-voltage or security industry.
• Experience with major security platforms (Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems for proper function and provide written/digital reports to customers.
• Identify customer needs and communicate next steps and repair plans.
• Provide solutions and recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
• Assist other technicians with repairs and basic maintenance.
