Job summary

Johnson Controls Security Technician position focused on troubleshooting and servicing intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems across multiple manufacturers. You will identify customer needs, then explain next steps and repair processes to restore full functionality.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, providing written or digital reports, and delivering high-quality service. You will support customers with solutions and upsell where appropriate, ensuring facility

Qualifications

• 5 years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Excellent knowledge of major security platforms (Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC, Kantech, exacq).
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass background and identity checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems, provide written or digital reports to customers and company.
• Hold effective conversations with customers to identify needs and outline next steps.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency and up-sell where appropriate.
• Coordinate inspections/installs with police, fire departments, and other agencies.
