Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician to diagnose and repair intrusion, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. You will inspect equipment, generate customer reports, and deliver high-quality service to restore full system functionality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with authorities when needed, performing repairs, and providing quotes. A strong knowledge of major platforms and on-call travel are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Excellent knowledge of major security platforms including Bosch, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP and DSC.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Must be able to travel overnight and work on-call.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems and provide written or digital reports to customer and company.
• Readjust, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Coordinate inspections with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
• Provide quotes and upsell opportunities to improve facility efficiency.
