Job summary

Montefiore Health System in Bronx, NY seeks a Project Manager for the Security Department to lead CCTV, Card Access, Panic and Burglar Alarm initiatives from concept to completion.

The role bridges strategy with day-to-day execution, mentors teams, tracks budgets and bids, and ensures compliance with institutional standards. Strong PM and security systems knowledge are essential.

This is a day shift role, Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-5 PM (7.5 hours).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• CPM or APM certification required; PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Card Access and other security systems.
• General computer knowledge including Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate security system projects from concept to completion.
• Track budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, and balances.
• Solicit, review, and level competitive bids from approved vendors.
• Prepare bid comparisons and recommendations for leadership review.
• Ensure alignment with standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
