Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Project Manager to bridge strategy and operations within the Security Department, overseeing CCTV, Card Access, Panic and Burglar Alarm projects from concept to completion.

You will coordinate budgets, bids, and vendor selections; track entries in Strata and Infor, and ensure compliance with Montefiore standards. This role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, mentorship, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ten years+ experience is required.
• Certified Project Manager (CPM) or Associate in Project Management (APM) certification required, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
• Must have knowledge of General Project Management, CCTV, Card Access and other pertinent Security Systems, IT systems and protocols.
• General Computer knowledge including Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex security system projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as the department’s subject matter expert and liaison, translating strategic directives from leadership into actionable plans.
• Track and maintain project budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, and available balances.
• Make timely and accurate project-related entries in the Strata and Infor systems and reconcile, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
• Solicit, review, compare, and level competitive bids from approved vendors to ensure proposals are complete, based on consistent project requirements, and evaluated fairly for scope, pricing, qualifications, schedule, and compliance with Montefiore standards.
