Qualifications

• Ten years+ experience is required.
• Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• CPM or APM certification required, PMP preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Card Access and Security IT systems.
• General computer knowledge including Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex security system projects across Montefiore Health System from concept to completion.
• Ensure alignment with standards, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
• Track budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices and balances.
• Make entries in Strata and Infor, reconcile invoices and financial reporting.
• Solicit, review and level vendor bids; prepare comparisons and recommendations.

This role leads and coordinates complex security system projects across the Montefiore Health System, covering CCTV, Card Access, Panic and Burglar Alarm systems, and related initiatives from concept to completion.The Project Manager serves as the department’s subject matter expert and liaison, translating strategic directives from leadership into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with institutional standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This position does not include direct supervision but provides guidance, mentorship, and coordination across teams to achieve departmental goals.The Project Manager will track and maintain project budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, and available balances. Make timely and accurate project-related entries in the Strata and Infor systems and reconcile, invoice processing, and financial reporting. Solicit, review, compare, and level competitive bids from approved vendors to ensure proposals are complete, based on consistent project requirements, and evaluated fairly for scope, pricing, qualifications, schedule, and compliance with Montefiore standards. Prepare bid comparisons and recommendations for Security leadership review and approval.Performance standards:Project financial records and system entries are accurate, current, properly documented, and completed within established departmental and organizational timeframes.Vendor bids are accurately leveled, documented, and evaluated using consistent criteria, enabling leadership to make informed, cost-effective vendor selectionsEducation and Requirements:Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Ten years+ experience is required.Certified Project Manager (CPM) or Associate in Project Management (APM) certification required, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.Must have knowledge of General Project Management, CCTV, Card Access and other pertinent Security Systems, IT systems and protocolsGeneral Computer knowledge including Excel is preferred.Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
