Job summary

M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a Senior Security Systems Engineer 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, integrate, test and deploy electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers, across intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, and video systems. This role requires 5+ years of systems engineering experience, ability to work with government sponsors, and a TS clearance (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience applying systems engineering practices to complex systems.
• Ability to brief technical concepts to various audiences.
• Active TS clearance with full-scope polygraph (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and on-site presence 4 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration, test, verification, validation and deployment activities.
• Translate stakeholder needs into system concepts, architectures and roadmaps.
• Develop, assess and refine system architectures and data flows.
• Facilitate workshops and document validated requirements with traceability.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, cybersecurity and cloud teams.
