Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 in Tysons, VA, to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role encompasses design, integration, operation, and maintenance of security and IT systems across federal and commercial customers.

The candidate will work with engineering teams to elicit requirements, develop architectures, perform risk and performance analyses, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years progressive experience.
• Experience deploying and managing data center and virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Strong engineering experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere, Windows Server, DNS/DFS/DHCP, AD/GP, SCCM OS Deployment.
• Experience with data center networking, storage, and virtualization of enterprise apps.
• Experience with cybersecurity requirements and applying DoD IT security standards (DISA STIG/SRG).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify needs and map to product/security solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients highlighting features and benefits.
• Develop customized solutions and tailor offerings to requirements.
• Craft proposals detailing solution, pricing, and implementation plan.
