Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Systems Engineer 6 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA. The role focuses on designing, integrating, operating and maintaining security and IT systems across federal, local, and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required.
• 12+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity; or 9+ years with a Masters; 7+ years with a PhD (3 years SE for physical security/IT).

Responsibilities

• Develop system requirements, functional requirements, and allocate to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB and design/program/test reviews.
• Define interfaces and changes across lifecycle teams to ensure traceability.
• Develop design solutions and verify against requirements with formal plans.
